Getting a good night’s sleep can make a massive difference to your wellbeing and it’s really important to make sure you get the right amount of sleep for you! Over the years, I have had many a sleepless night and have tried out many products which claim to help you get a good night’s sleep. Here are my top five products…

An Eye Mask
My middle son who is 11 still won’t sleep at night without the hall light on and its really affected how I sleep…. that was until my hubby bought me an eye mask for my birthday! I’ve since discovered that our bodies are hard wired to sleep when its dark and in the absence of light, the sleep hormone ‘melatonin’ is produced. A Decent Pillow
If you asked my hubby, he would say that I had a bit of a pillow obsession… and to be honest, he may have a point! However, I really do think its crucial to have the right pillow, whatever that is for you! I’ve tried alot of pillows over the years and I’ve now narrowed it down to two! The Next Super Soft Fleece pillow is absolutely amazing and is just like snuggling up to your favourite teddy! The second of my favourites is the Eve pillow which is made from a responsive memory foam which is surprisgnly soft and stretchy. Alternating between these two pillows really does help me to fall into a deep slumber.
Once I am asleep, its takes quite alot to wake me up but my hubby on the other hand wakes at the sightest of sounds. Over the last few months, he has been wearing ear plugs at bedtime which has really helped him to drop off into a deep sleep. There are loads of different types on the market now and my hubby loves Pluggerz Sleep Earplugs which have a filter to block out background noise but not important sounds like babies crying or the alarm going off.
